Sustainability in every fabric, a clean future in every investment.

Our Green Roadmap
Today, we meet 39% of our factories' energy needs from solar energy through our rooftop solar power plant investments. With a total installed capacity of 4 MW on the rooftops of our factories in Kestel and İnegöl, Bursa, we prevent ≈1,980 tons of CO₂ emissions each year, providing the same benefits to nature as ≈130,000 trees.
Commitment to Decarbonization with Solar and Wind Power Plants
As Umit Karakoc Textile, we have invested in a 4MW solar power plant on our roofs in line with our carbon emission reduction target. With our 5 MW wind power plant, which will be commissioned in 2026, we aim to power the majority of our production with renewable energy. We are committed to reducing carbon emissions by up to 40% for every kilogram of fabric produced. Our net-zero emissions vision is aligned with the Paris Climate Agreement. Environmental Contributions Provided by Solar Power Plants and Wind Power Plants Annual Carbon Emission Reduction - 5,300 Tons of CO2 Number of Trees Saved Annually - Equivalent to 225,000 Trees Energy Ratio Provided by Solar Power Plants - 45%
