Our Green Promise from Our Roots
Hevsel Gardens, with its 8,000-year history, is a fertile 7,000-hectare heritage site, located between the Tigris River and the Diyarbakır Walls, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We at Umit Karakoc Textile grew up in these lands. Our childhoods were spent in the shadow of Hevsel, immersed in nature. From those gardens, we learned to love nature and respect the earth. That's where we look today in textiles. Our love for greenery is not just an inspiration; it's our way of life. Umit Karakoc Textile carries the environmental awareness inherited from Hevsel in every thread and fabric. Because we know that protecting nature means preserving our past.

Every month:
Agroecological farming transformation is being supported in a village.
Twenty women are receiving producer support.
Twenty children are receiving nature education.
These projects are supported by funds allocated from Ecoleaf fabric sales.
Wastewater Management
As Ümit Karakoç Textile
We are among the founding members of the S.S. Green Environment and Business Cooperative, operating in Bursa's industrial zones. This organization treats domestic and industrial wastewater from organized zones such as Uludag Organized Industrial Zone, KOSAB, and BOSAB using advanced biological treatment technologies at a daily capacity of 100,000 m³ and safely discharges it into the Delicay Stream.
This system supports our environmentally friendly production approach on a regional scale.
